Inspections:

The Warren County Health Department, Office of Environmental Public Health conducts food service inspections under the authority of Warren County Ordinance No. 96-02. This Ordinance sets forth standards by which sources of food, food service establishments, food service personnel, and food service equipment are regulated to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public.  Critical items relate directly to factors which lead to Foodborne illness, these items must receive immediate action.  Non-critical items relate to the maintenance of food operations and cleanliness, these items are to be corrected by the next regular inspection.

Dairy Queen of Warrenton, 911 N. Service Road East, Warrenton, MO  63383-3013.  08/05/08.  Complaint. Critical Violations:  None.  Non-Critical Violations:  Dining area not properly cleaned, floor/wall junction, carpets, and chairs.Comments:  Only items related to the complaint were reviewed.

Denny’s, 429 East Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Warrenton, MO  63383. 8/05/08.  Complaint.  Critical Violations:  None.  Non-Critical Violations:  Area under ice bins and soda machines not properly cleaned.

Warrenton Golf Course, 24799 S. Hwy. 47, Warrenton, MO  63383.  08/06/08.  Routine Inspection.  Critical Violations:  None.  Non-Critical Violations:  None.

The Party Zone Bar and Grill, 405 Veterans Memorial Parkway East, Warrenton, MO  63383.  08/12/08.Routine Inspection, Critical Violations:  None.  Non-Critical Violations:  Ladies toilet room door in disrepair and is not self closing, some tile is lose and toilet seat is in disrepair.  Lighting above fryer not properly protected.  Bottom of cooling unit not properly cleaned.

El Compadre Mexican Store, 275 WN Service Road, Suite K-J, Wright City, MO  63390.  08/12/08. Pre-Opening Inspection,  Critical Violations:  None.  Non-Critical Violations:  None.  Comments:  This pre-opening inspection due to a change of ownership.  Facility approved to operate once food service permit is obtained.

Moser’s, 1035 Armory Lane, Warrenton, MO  63383.  08/13/08.  Routine Inspection, Critical Violations:  None.  Non-Critical Violations:  None.

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar, 507 Warren County Center, Warrenton, MO  63383.  08/15/08. Routine Inspection.  Critical Violations: None.  Non-Critical Violations:  None.

China House of Warrenton, 1016-1018 N. Hwy 47, Warrenton, MO  63383.  08/18/08.  Routine Inspection. Critical Violations:  None.  Non-Critical Violations: None.

Service Road East, Warrenton, MO  63383.  08/20/08.  Complaint. Critical Violations:  No person employed with a safe food handling certification.  3-vat sink drain leaking onto kitchen floor.  Cheese and bacon stored unprotected in unclean cooling unit.  Mustard container nozzle unclean.  Fries left in fryer overnight.  Two waffle batter containers in cooling unit with unknown additive.  Many flies present.  Rodent bait stations in shed not covered.  Fly strip over food preparation area.  Blizzard machine, can opener, hamburger holding area, and toppings table gap not properly cleaned.  Food product uncovered in cooling / freezing units. Non-Critical Violations:  Food product exposed to unclean condensation ice in walk-in-freezer.  No soap at men’s toilet room hand-sink.  Paper towels stored on floor in shed.  Shed overhead door has excessive gaps.   Pest control light adhesive strip not changed when full.  Dead pests not removed from shed.  Kitchen and back storage area walls, floors, and ceiling not properly cleaned.  Dining area seats, carpets not properly cleaned.  Coving under hand-sink, kitchen floor tiles, kitchen towel dispenser, men’s toilet room towel dispenser, men’s toilet room door, 3 vat sink faucet and kitchen ceiling tiles in disrepair.  Interior of microwave and grill not properly cleaned.  Shed has trash and boxes left overnight, empty boxes left outside back door overnight, outside dumpster left open overnight.  Trash on ground and plant growth not controlled in dumpster area. Uniform shirt stained and unclean.

Twin Gables LLC, 101 Hwy 47, Marthasville, MO  63357. 08/25/08. Routine Inspection.  Critical Violations:  None.  Non-Critical Violations:  None.

Dollar General, 608 East Boones Lick Rd, Warrenton, MO  63383.  08/25/08. Routine Inspection.  Critical Violations: None.  Non-Critical Violations:  None.

Warrenton Retirement Center LLC, 700 Forsest Ave., Warrenton, MO  63383.  08/27/08.  Routine Inspection.  Critical Violations:  None.  Non-Critical Violations:  Water leak at dishwasher, 3 vat sink, and 2-vat sink.  Walk-in-cooler fan and shelving not properly cleaned.

Service Road East, Warrenton, MO  63383-3013.  08/27/08.  Re-Inspection.  Critical Violations:  No person employed with a safe food handling certification, this is a repeat violation.  3-vat sink drain is leaking onto kitchen floor, 3-vat sink faucet in disrepair, this is a repeat violation.  Many flies present in facility, this is a repeat violation.  Shed has recent evidence of rodents.  Facility has no professional pest control.  Rodent bait stations in shed not contained in a covered, tamper-resistant bait station, this is a repeat violation.  Non-Critical Violations:  Fly attractant light adhesive strip full of dead flies and needs replaced, this is a repeat violation.  Shed overhead door has excessive gaps which allow the entrance of pests, this is a repeat violation.  Food product exposed to unclean condensation ice in walk-in-freezer, this is a repeat violation.  Single service item dishes stored on floor in shed, this is a repeat violation.  No hand drying provision in ladies toilet room.  Kitchen and back storage area walls unclean, back light cover unclean, kitchen ceiling tiles unclean, walk-in-cooler floor unclean, walk-in-freezer unclean with 6 inches of ice and food product, carpets in dining area unclean and stained, this is a repeat violation.  Coving under kitchen hand-sink in disrepair, this is a repeat violation.  Top of hood (shelf) not properly cleaned, this is a repeat violation.  Employee uniforms unclean and stained, this is a repeat violation.  Kitchen hand-sink towel dispenser and men’s toilet room towel dispenser in disrepair, men’s toilet room door has paint in disrepair, kitchen ceiling tile in disrepair, this is a repeat violation.  Outside dumpster area has trash on ground and is overgrown with weeds, this is a repeat violation.
