Warren County Health Department

The Warren County Health Department, Office of Environmental Public Health conducts food service inspections under the authority of Warren County Ordinance No. 96-02. This Ordinance sets forth standards by which sources of food, food service establishments, food service personnel, and food service equipment are regulated to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. Critical items relate directly to factors which lead to Foodborne illness, these items must receive immediate action. Non-critical items relate to the maintenance of food operations and cleanliness, these items are to be corrected by the next regular inspection.

This inspection due to a complaint of cook smoking and then handling ready-to-eat foods without washing hands or wearing gloves. Only items related to the complaint were reviewed. The complaint was confirmed. Critical Violations: Cook placed gloves on without washing hands. Cook handled ready-to-eat food (hamburger bun) with bare hands. 08/24/07. Re-Inspection. This inspection was to verify that the prior critical items were corrected. The prior critical items have been corrected. No bare hand contact with ready-to-eat foods was observed and proper hand washing was observed.

Kentucky Fried Chicken, 717 N. Hwy. 47, Warrenton, 63383. 08/09/07. Complaint Inspection. This inspection due to a complaint of a piece of plastic in mashed potatoes. Only items related to the complaint were reviewed. Facility has no plastic that matches item found, all utensils and single service items were looked at. Process of making potatoes was reviewed, unable to find source of item.

This inspection is to verify a prior critical item has been corrected, non-critical items will be reviewed during your next routine inspection. The prior critical item has been corrected, pest control is in place and pests are being properly controlled.

Imo's Pizza, #55 Warrenton Outlet Center, Warrenton, 63383. 08/15/07. Complaint Inspection. This inspection due to a complaint of illness after eating at facility. Only items related to the complaint were reviewed. The process was reviewed from receiving through service of the pizza. All temperatures were in order. The food is prepared with gloves on and no bare hand contact is allowed after the product is cooked. Unable to confirm complaint.
