Inspections:
The
Warren County Health Department, Office of Environmental Public
Health conducts food
service inspections under the authority of Warren County Ordinance
No. 96-02. This Ordinance sets forth standards by which sources
of food, food service establishments, food service personnel, and
food service equipment are regulated to protect the health, safety,
and welfare of the public. Critical
items relate directly to factors which lead to Foodborne illness,
these items must receive
immediate action. Non-critical items relate to the maintenance
of food operations
and cleanliness, these items are to be corrected by the next regular
inspection.

Re-Inspection. Comments: This re-inspection
was to verify a prior critical violation has been corrected. Non-critical
items will be reviewed during your next routine inspection. The
prior critical violation has been corrected; toxic spray is now
stored below and away from food and/or single service items and
all spray bottles are properly labeled with contents.

Complaint Inspection. This inspection was due to
a complaint of bare hand contact with ready-to-eat food (cheese).
Only items related to the complaint were reviewed. Cook stated
he has not had bare hand contact with ready-to eat food. Bare hand
contact with ready-to-eat food was not observed. Reviewed
proper food handling with the cook, unable to verify complaint.

Routine Inspection. Critical Violations: Pests in
corn not properly controlled. Wild game animals in back freezer
(catfish and bass). Food product for sale without required
labels including rice, beans, corn, dried fish, dried shrimp, corn
meal, wheat flour chips, and cheese. Many utensils and utensil
container not properly cleaned. Utility sink has hose that
extends below the rim of the sink with no backflow prevention device.
Raw beef stored over ready-to-eat foods in front cooling unit. Non-Critical
Violations: Toilet room and kitchen hand-sink have no provision
for drying hands. Mop not stored to air dry properly.
Toilet room door not self closing, this is a repeat violation. Interior
of microwave not properly cleaned.

Comments: This inspection due to a complaint of bare
