Inspections:

The Warren County Health Department, Office of Environmental Public Health conducts food service inspections under the authority of Warren County Ordinance No. 96-02. This Ordinance sets forth standards by which sources of food, food service establishments, food service personnel, and food service equipment are regulated to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public.  Critical items relate directly to factors which lead to Foodborne illness, these items must receive immediate action.  Non-critical items relate to the maintenance of food operations and cleanliness, these items are to be corrected by the next regular inspection.

Comments: This re-inspection was to verify a prior critical violation has been corrected.  The violation has been corrected; proper pest control is now in place.

Knappy’s Sportsmans Bar, 108 E. Booneslick, Warrenton, 63383. 03/03/2008. Re-Inspection. Critical Violations: Bare hand contact with ready-to-eat food observed.  No employee with safe food handling certification.  Non-Critical Violations:  None. Comments: This re-inspection was to verify prior critical violations have been corrected.  The prior critical violations have been corrected; raw meats both in walk-in-cooler and in basement chest freezer are properly stored below and away from ready-to-eat foods.
