Inspections:
The Warren County Health Department, Office of Environmental Public Health conducts food service inspections under the authority of Warren County Ordinance No. 96-02. This Ordinance sets forth standards by which sources of food, food service establishments, food service personnel, and food service equipment are regulated to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. Critical items relate directly to factors which lead to Foodborne illness, these items must receive immediate action. Non-critical items relate to the maintenance of food operations and cleanliness, these items are to be corrected by the next regular inspection.

The Cookery Restraurant & Buffet, #1 Camp Branch Road, Warrenton, MO. 63383. 9/8/10. Routine Inspection. Critical Violations: Potato salad, cottage cheese, eggs, beets on cold buffet, half and half, wetted chicken breading, and eggs in egg cooling unit not at proper temperature. Knives, utensil containers, ice machine inner door, ice cream scoop, and shake machine not properly cleaned. Drain cleaners and open drain cleaner stored next to food storage pans. Kitchen area had no sanitizer. Non-Critical Violations: Hand sink, floor under equipment, dry storage floor, walk-in-cooler floor, floor under dishwasher, fan covers in walk in’s, and high chairs not properly cleaned. Light shields broken, cook line hand sink drain leaking, and back hand sink draining slow.
