Core Violations: Hand Wash Sink Use, Hand wash sink in food preparation area was being used for food preparation which blocked the sink and made it not accessible for hand washing. Maintenance, The ceiling tiles over the kitchen area need repair and or replacing. The floor in the restroom needs repair. The wall on the outside of the room where the mop sink is, has water damage and needs repair. Non-Food Contact Surfaces, The room where the mop sink is needs cleaning. Bin freezers throughout the facility need defrosting. Packaged Food, There was an open bag of dried peppers on the sales shelf that had been adulterated by pests. This bag was discarded immediately. There was a bag of dried corn that was left open on the sales floor. This violation was corrected on site. Priority Violations: Date Marking, 3 prepared foods were in plastic containers covered with foil being stored in the refrigerated sales case, and several meats, tamales and other food items in freezers and coolers were all unlabeled. All is to be corrected by the time of re-inspection.
