News you can use: The Warren County Health Department (WCHD) is committed to the safety of all food sold and consumed in Warren County. As a result, all non-profit food booths at area temporary events, will be subject to inspection by the WCHD. This includes, but not limited to, acquiring food from a reliable source, having a three bay set up for ware washing and supplying an onsite hand washing set up for food workers. Non-profit food booths are NOT required to obtain a WCHD Food Permit at this time, as the WCHD would like the non-profit groups to be able to keep the money raised at the food booths for their charity.
