November 2009 Food Inspections


The Warren County Health Department, Office of Environmental Public Health conducts food service inspections under the authority of Warren County Ordinance No. 96-02. This Ordinance sets forth standards by which sources of food, food service establishments, food service personnel, and food service equipment are regulated to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public.  Critical items relate directly to factors which lead to Foodborne illness, these items must receive immediate action.  Non-critical items relate to the maintenance of food operations and cleanliness, these items are to be corrected by the next regular inspection.

Firehouse Grill & Pub, 101 W. Booneslick, Warrenton, MO. 63383. 11/6/09. Pre- Opening Inspection.Comments:  Facility in final stages of re-model. Facility approved to open once food service permit is obtained.

Poppy J’s, 623 East Veterans Memorial Pkwy., Warrenton, MO. 63383. 11/06/09. Pre-Opening Inspection.Comments: Facility in final stages of re-model. Facility approved to operate once food service permit is obtained.

Warren County Jail, 104 West Main, Warrenton, MO. 63383. 11/18/09. Routine Inspection. Critical Violations: None. Non-Critical Violations: None. 
Kroger, 604 E Boonslick,Warrenton, MO. 63383. 11/19/09. 
Routine Inspection. Critical Violations: None. Non-Critical Violation: Floor under deli cooling unit not properly cleaned.
