Amanda : Instructor

Hello!

I’m Amanda and I love to move!

I started attending group exercise classes in 2008 and fell in love.

I found that exercising with a group of people motivated me more than exercising on my own. It’s a room full of energy that’s contagious! After about 1 year of attending classes as a student I decided I wanted more out of this new passion of mine and became a certified instructor.

The first format I taught was Turbo Kick in 2009. In Feb. 2012 I became certified to teach Zumba®. Later that year I decided to get my Primary Group Exercise Instructor Certification through AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America). This has allowed me to teach a variety of classes (like step, cardio mix and circuit training!).

Through AFAA, I have also completed continuing education courses like yoga, Pilates and prenatal fitness.  In May 2016, I received my Holy Yoga instructor training certification.  I teach HY classes at my local church, St. John’s Lutheran Church in Warrenton, MO. My most recent certification is through AFAA in personal training. After years of observation in my classes I realized that there was a need among individuals that I could not meet in a group workout environment. We don’t have time in class to explain everything. If you’re struggling or want more of a challenge you have to figure it out on your own. This is where I want to help! As a personal trainer, more than anything, I want to help individuals become more self-efficient and understand what’s appropriate for their personal needs.

Everyone has a place here. You CAN do it!

Bill

Bill : Personal Trainer

My name is Bill Gronemeyer and I have been a Certified Personal Trainer for 5 years. I love working with people of all ages and helping them achieve their fitness goals. My objective is to give you the knowledge and necessary tools to help you maximize your success, all while having fun.

Barb

Yoga Instructor

Barb : Yoga Instructor

My name is Barb Wagener. I have been teaching yoga for over thirty years.  I taught at Meramec Community College, City of St. Charles Adult Education and had many private classes.  I became interested in yoga because of how relaxed and at ease I felt after taking or teaching classes. It has kept my body limber, helped my breathing and most important taught me to relax and have an increased sense of wellbeing.

Sarah

Zumba Instructor

Sarah : Zumba Instructor

I'm Sarah Ingle and I have been working in the educational field for several years now.  I've had the great opportunity to work in a number of varying positions throughout the district.  I have been honored to touch the lives of so many children.  In my personal life, I have been blessed with four awesome children of my own.  I cannot even express how much they mean to me.  They are my everything!

I have a positive attitude and a driving faith to be the best instructor that I can be.  Finding fitness has changed every area of my life. I do not just enjoy Zumba, I am passionate about it. I want to be a light that can guide and support anyone to a better fitness level.  My goal is to help everyone have fun while getting fit.

David

Senior Class Instructor

David : Senior Class Instructor

Hi! My name is David Williams and I joined the Warren County Fitness group in January 2015.  I was working on weight loss and getting myself in better shape.  I was asked to become an instructor in 2016 and I am currently teaching Chair Class.  I grew up on a farm in South Lyon, Michigan and graduated from HS in 1959.  I have a degree in Health & Physical Education and Business from Murray State University in KY.  I taught school for 32 years, with 30 years in St. Charles, MO and 2 years in Charleston, MO.  I have spent the last 4 1/2 years getting myself back in good condition and hopefully the work ethic will carry over to our fitness center participants.

Dawn Wagner

Instructor

Dawn Wagner : Instructor

I am Dawn Wagner. I am a wife, mom, and 15 year Warrenton transplant. I recently committed to fuse my life long love of dance with my love of fitness. I have an AFAA Group Fitness License and will be teaching "Diggity Dance Fitness." I am a brand new instructor, excited to teach fun, sexy and booty popping choreography that's moderate to high intensity. My goal is to bring some of my favorite new and old Rock, Pop and Hip Hop songs and give you an incredible body work out. I hope to encourage you to (literally) let your hair down, sweat, laugh and dance without judgement.
